In the morning, Lily wakes up and has some breakfast with her mom or at least Mom tries to get Lily to eat. But Lily feels her mother really doesn't know what she likes to eat. Her mom goes off to a job interview but tells Lily to go to the library or something because she likes to read and likes libraries. Once again, Lily thinks her mom really doesn't know her. She does go to the library though because she wants to find information about the Korean tiger and stories from stars in jars. In the library she meets the librarian who shows her around and talks about how wonderful her harmonize is. Then she is introduced to Jensen, a girl who helps in the library and Jensen also talks about how wonderful Halmoni is. Jensen tries to help her find books on tigers. At the end of the chapter, Lily thinks she has just seen the tiger again, in the library.
